The Big Pointless Plastic Photography Competition

During November and December 2022, Live Here Love Here hosted Connecting Communities events throughout the country to meet community reps and local volunteers.

The events showcased the main campaigns and grant programmes delivered by Live Here Love Here, and the team were on hand to hear about your project ideas and answer any questions. Our grants team were delighted to hear about project ideas and offer advice on funding, processes and what makes a great application.

The regional events had an informal feel with food and workshops about biodiversity and food growing projects. They offered a fantastic opportunity to meet local groups and individuals that are actively engaged in community action projects helping to keep Northern Ireland beautiful.

Attendees all received a free gift along with discount codes to the fantastic zero waste online retailers Do Your Bit NI and The Greener Guru.
