Fortunately, there is a lot that we can do to reverse this decline.
If we add up all our garden and community spaces in the UK, it amounts to a higher quantity of land than all our nature reserves put together. By caring for these areas in ways that create food, shelter and habitats for wildlife, we can create joined-up green corridors that gives our native flora and fauna the resources they need to thrive.
